Our Payment Policies

Payment is required when services are rendered. Cash is preferred.

AVS will take credit and debit cards (with a 3% service charge) and checks with valid driver’s license. Returned checks will incur a $30 service charge.

AVS is willing to work with clients on payment issues. Any payment arrangements should be discussed and agreed upon before services are rendered.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of service with 25% of balance required every 30 days until the balance is paid in full.

Balances unpaid after 90 days will be sent to collections.

Please note:  There will be a $10.00 fee for prescriptions filled for any medications not ordered through our website or from AVS.

Clients who budget expenses should save $500 for emergencies. This amount will usually cover a farm call, basic diagnostics and treatment.

General Fees:

  • Farm Calls: $60 and up based on location and distance.
  • Basic Physical Exams: $25
  • Coggins Test: $25 ($5 Initial set up fee)
